Star and John’s wedding in Castello Vicchiomaggio was planned to the smallest detail. The castle in Greve in Chianti, is set on a hill with views of vineyards all around. It has a beautiful garden for aperitivo and a stunning terrace for the first dance. All of that is breathtaking… on a sunny day. But when on their wedding day Star and John woke up to pouring rain, their dreams of a perfect Tuscany civil wedding in Castello Vicchiomaggio looked shaky.

Throughout preparations, everyone was nervously looking outside the window. The bride was worried about the wedding. The groom was worried about her. And all the castle staff looked stressed, because the rain ruined all their plans.

Then, suddenly, an hour before the ceremony, the sky cleared and warm sun came out. It was all everyone wished for.

Star and John took their vows in a little atmospheric church next to the castle, and they got married in Chianti.

Afterwards, invited guests to the garden for wedding aperitif. Violinists were playing, guests were chatting happily, bride and groom filled with relief and joy hugged everyone on their way.

Meanwhile the sun was slowly going down, making room for dinner and crazy party that followed, perfect for Wedding Photography in Florence.
